This looks great with a dynamic cast of actors who are adults. I hope I’m right. No bigger fan of McAvoy’s potential than me. Would be curious to hear Mark Strong’s voice in a theatre space, Andrea Riseborough always galvanizes in an original way.
- you think the cast (or cast of actors as you put it) is dynamic
- you say they are actors who are adults
- you’re a fan of James McEvoy’s potential
- you’re curious to hear Mark Strong’s voice in a theatre space
- Andrea Riseborough always galvinizes in another way
What do any of those things actually mean, dude?
Is that U2 in the background?!
Teal overload.
Wow! That movie looks great – but what the hell is it about?
Not saying the movie is bad (haven’t seen it, of course) but the trailer is too confusing. I’m all for NOT giving everything away in a trailer, but this trailer doesn’t present much of anything to grab the viewer, other than a lot of gun fire and chase scenes.
James M is pretty decent actor, though, so I wouldn’t write this one off. I’ll probably wait until to watch it online.
Ok,,,there’s a couple guys,,,they shoot guns, is one a good guy and one a bad guy, I think,,,there’s lots of helicopters flying around giving us extreme perspective views of a city where it’s always night,,,ummmm,,,otherwise I’m not sure what the hell I just saw.
ho-hum
The British preview had better music. Regardless, the movie looks good and I am hoping it will help me forget the wretched The Sweeney.
I like McAvoy but he is so miscast in this. Who on Earth keeps thinking this actor is an action star never mind a classic leading man.
His slender frame and build (not to mention height or lack there of) make him look like a 12 year old boy who’s won a competition to star in a film about cops.
Oh, he does not look like he’s 12. Like there are no short, boyish-looking cops. McAvoy may be short, but he’s fit and athletic. Word is he did almost all his own stunts on the film. Not sure about this film, but I have no problem with him in action roles.
