Jonathan Del Arco, who has been recurring as the snarky but lovable medical examiner Dr. Morales on five seasons of TNT‘s The Closer and the first season of spinoff Major Crimes, has been promoted to a series regular for Major Crimes‘ upcoming second season. He is with SDB Partners and Kyle Fritz Management.
Also promoted to regular for Season 2 is Arrow‘s Colton Haynes. Haynes has appeared in one episode so far of the CW series and will continue to recur for the remainder of Season 1 before getting a bump to regular. He plays Roy Harper, a man who has lived a life of crime growing up in The Glades section of Starling City and who now has a relationship with Thea Queen (Willa Holland).

good for Arco. i like him.
About time for Jonathan.
Jonathan is a solid actor that delievers…always a fan and happy he is such a strong advocate for great causes.
good news for Colton, but i do wonder how teen wolf will write him out of the next season if he’s not even going to be in the first episode. a shame also, his character was great (though the second half of the season didn’t give him too much to do, if you know what i mean, no spoilers here!)
They should of kept his character on teen wolf dead as they originally shot, why did they bother keeping him alive, if he was leaving the show anyways. Good news for him though on Arrow.
