Michael Irby (The Unit) and Brit Mackenzie Crook (Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise) have been cast in Fox‘s untitled Bad Robot/J.H. Wyman drama pilot (formerly Inhuman). The buddy cop show, from Warner Bros. TV, is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. It centers on one such pairing, cop John Kennex and his android partner Dorian (Michael Ealy). Irby, repped by Greene & Assoc. and Leanne Coronel, plays top LAPD Detective Richard Paul who blames Kennex for the death of fellow officers in the tragic mission that casts a pall over the department. Crook will play Rudy Lom, the eccentric and underpaid designer of the LAPD’s robotics squad. Meanwhile, Bad Robot’s other pilot, NBC‘s Believe, has added Kyle MacLachlan as Skouras, a mysterious billionaire with an even more mysterious agenda
Kacey Rohl has been cast in Doubt, ABC’s legal drama written and executive produced by David Shore. The project, from Sony TV, centers on Vincent, a former cop who’s now a cunning but charming low-rent lawyer who uses his street smarts to work the system for his clients while battling his own demons and wooing his ex-wife. Rohl, repped by Gersh and Russ Mortensen, will play Monica the firm’s whip-smart paralegal/investigator who often goes above and beyond the scope of her job to help them win the case. She is recurring on NBC’s Hannibal.

Excellent ! Irby is a great actor ! Great guy !
Michael Irby is going to steal this show! GREAT ACTOR!!!
The guy who is in charge of designing robots with guns is underpaid? Our tax dollars at work.
But overall, sounds like a promising series…
I like Rohl, but I’m tired of legal dramas. There are plenty of other professions out there besides Lawyer.
The T.V. Gods have finally answered my prayers… So excited to see Irby on T.V. Again…….
Excellent! Been missing Irby on my TV! Congrats Mike!
Great actor, better person, truly a professional! Thanks Irby!
