EXCLUSIVE: Relativity Media has acquired Scare Me, a psychological thriller novel, and is setting Wentworth Miller to write the script. Miller is the actor who starred in the Fox series Prison Break who made his screenwriting debut on Stoker, the Chan-wook Park-directed thriller for Fox Searchlight and Indian Paintbrush. It was brought in by Relativity Media production president Robbie Brenner.
The book is in the vein of Se7en, and it will be published in the spring by Angry Robot. Gotham Group brokered the book deal and reps Wentworth along with ICM Partners and attorney Harris Hartman.

Did these brainiac executives actually SEE “Stoker”? If so, they would know the script was beyond terrible, it was the reason the movie failed on every level except visual. And now the writer has ANOTHER job? He should go back to acting and put the pen down.
No one think that Wentworth Miller can actually write, including the people hiring him.
No they don’t but hiring him generates BUZZ! Buzzy buzz buzz on the project. The agencies buzz and actors buzz and buzzzzzzzzzz buzz! Look we hired a smoking hot star to write this — not some pudgy/pasty writer who’s spent YEARS learning to write instead of act. How effing cool is that! It’s buzztastic! This project has buzzzzzzz!!!!
All good. They will hire an actual writer — quite possibly one who’s a tad pudgy and a little pasty and has spent a decade learning to write and not act — to actually write the thing. Wentworth’s fee is the price of buzz and is what they’d call in other businesses a lost leader.
You’re funny.
Years ago, when Mr. Miller first rolled into town, before his big Prison break, I happened to work with Wentworth at an LA bookstore – and I can report to you that he was always doing some form of writing or other while in the break room. His is not an overnight success. He earned it. He’s a sharp, classy guy. Congratulations, Wentworth!
That makes so much sense, what you just said.
If you thought that script wasn’t good, you’re out of your mind. The screenplay was better than the film.
Agreed. He write’s slow burners and he damn good at it. The screenplay for STOKER was fantastic. As was THE DISAPOINTMENTS ROOM.
tell you what, that tiger is one hell of an author!
Ha!
Creepy dude. Creepy material. I look forward to this!
I loved “Stoker” – just lovedlovedloved it. So, I’m looking forward to this. I may be the only one, but there you go!
Damn fine book. Gonna be a damn fine film.
When are they going to make Strangers 2? They’ve been sitting on a proven horror film for years now.
Strangers 2?? HAHAHAHAHA
That film had holes big enought to drive a cement truck through sideways!
Yeah, the movie made money. It was also terrible.
Dude can’t write. At all. Stoker was all visual, no story. And they had to hire a real writer to clean up that hot mess. Good luck Relativity.
Ha! I thought this was about Mark Borchardt’s “Scare Me”! He’s been filming it for a decade and I thought maybe he finally got it done.
Wentworth went to Princeton and has a degree in English. he has always been a writer… he also happens to be a handsome actor… I guess some people do have it all.
I will read ANyTHING he writes and I dont think we’ve ever had a gorgeous looking writer…
Wentworth you’re amazing!!!!
…. yes he does have it all.. …
Wentworth is amazing! And well… You gotta start somewhere! You never start out doin what your doin bein perfect right off the bat! Give him a break! He’s simply amazing!
