Men Of A Certain Age star Scott Bakula is returning to TNT with a co-starring role opposite Geena Davis in TNT‘s untitled bounty hunter quirky drama pilot from Dean Devlin‘s Electric Entertainment, Ternion Productions and 3 Arts. Written by Scott Prendergast and Amy Berg inspired by the real-life story of bounty hunter Mackenzie Green and directed by Devlin, the drama stars Davis as Mackenzie “Mack” Green, an unconventional bail bondswoman and bounty hunter whose eccentric personality and unusual tactics give her an advantage in a tough and unpredictable business. Bakula will play Mack’s ex-husband Pete, a cop, joining previously cast Gloria Reuben, Marsha Mason and Enrico Colantoni. Bakula, repped by ICM Partners and Anonymous Content, will next be seen in an April episode of Two And A Half Men, HBO’s Liberace biopic, Behind The Candelabra, and indies Elsa And Fred and Snap.
British actor Alex Hassell (Anonymous) has landed a lead role in ABC’s drama pilot Big Thunder. Written by Jason Fuchs, directed by Rob Bowman and executive produced by Melissa Rosenberg, the project, based on Disney’s roller coaster ride, centers on a brilliant, late 19th century New York doctor. He and his family are given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to relocate to a frontier mining town run by a powerful, but mysterious tycoon (Hassell) but quickly realize that not everything in Big Thunder is as it seems. Hassell is repped by Paradigm, Magnolia Entertainment and UK’s United Agents.

I loved Scott in Men Of A Certain Age, but it’s on #TNT and they cancelled #Leverage so I have a choice to make.
Michelle, I feel your pain, but I love Dean Devlin and one of my favorite movies is Long Kiss Goodnight.
I’m hoping we’ll get a few Leverage movies in the same vein as the The Librarian ones and Beth & Aldis are doing pilots for other shows, so the movies may be all we get. *sadface*
This was posted almost 2 hours ago and no one has mentioned the roller coaster ride of it all? Well, I will. Everyone associated with that should be ashamed. The bounty hunter one sounds awesome, though.
Why? What is there to be ashamed of?
That’s because people have already complained about it being based on a roller coaster several times already
Yeah still bummed about ‘Leverage’. I do love Bakula though.
Yeah, there’s a hole in me where Leverage used to be.
I agree Margaret. I took TNT off my channel lineup. If they announced the end of Leverage at a reasonable time and given the loyal fans the chance to mourn their loss–I would’ve had some respect. They way they did it was just wrong. My whole opinion of watching new shows changed–its a rare pilot that gets my attention, all thanks to TNT/Leverage cancellation.
You’ve got to be kidding. The ‘Leverage’ creators had time to write a finale that wrapped up things quite nicely. I liked that show a lot and while I wish it hasn’t been axed, it was treated far better than most shows that get canceled. Not that you should trust the networks to respect you — that point is entirely valid.
Bakulicious!
Yah a hole, and I’m know “Lost – Found” Fka “Bounty Hunter” will fill it.
the bounty hunter is go to suck its all about leverage
