• I pray this movie is much better than the painfully overrated Silver Linings Playbook. Talk about a major disappointment.

  • Not a major disappointment but overrated just like the fighter. Both wanted to be great, but the resolution was predictable and far too easy. The Master and Life of Pi will live, everything else will fade into obscurity.

• Someone please tell me how this happens. If Jennifer Lawrence is still in Hawaii doing Hunger Games and then starts X Men and only then is available for this movie how do they get it on the screen this 12/13? Not impossible I realize but isn’t it rushing things a bit?

• The reason there were so many rewrites is because it turns out that Mel Weinberg (who’s involved in this, as he was in a failed project in 1982) is not the likeable conman being portrayed in the original script. His behavior had actually caused his 50-year old wife Marie (Lawrence) to commit suicide. The original script had an amicable break-up with Weinberg, with him even complimenting her in the final scene.
