• I think that AMC would be better off if they just advanced in real time instead off five years later.So that’s….. 2016. That is SO weird!! They already don’t have key characters like Erica, Ryan, Greenlee, Jack, Randy, Franky, Madison, Tad, or Caleb!! and now they are making it sooo much worse!!!

  • well you must have been interested that’s why your still hanging around. I’m thrilled to have the cast back, all -some- part, doesn’t matter, I’m looking forward to it, like an old’s friend moving in next door. Be grateful that the actors, producers, and all the other major and minor contributors are taking part.

    Don’t be a buzz kill so early in the game. Be happy that there is the possibility for greatness in this new adventure!

    • Well, I think it would be a great idea if they tried to get the shows on Soap Net, the OWN Network (don’t tell me the ratings haven’t been horrible), or wait for the perfect moment to go to CBS or NBC. But whatever you do, DO NOT go back to ABC and let them destroy AMC and OLTL again!!! Please!

• Soap Net is STILL scheduled to go off the air. ABC CANT air either soaps as THEY DONT own the rights to air them anymore.
  I sure hope that Prospect gets the legacy characters THEY paid for being Todd & Starr Manning & John McBain being they loaned the characters out to ABC who knew when funding was pulled the first time that Prospect was still looking for back of which they have found. The actors themselves can stay with GH as they are the ones who are under contract to ABC let um…but Todd, Starr & John will ALWAYS be OLTL characters created by Agnes Nixon of whom I bet does NOT want HER creations on another soap.

• also stated on TOLN that the shows will appear on HULU or ITUNES. BUT MY question will they be listed as free? HULU is $7.99 per month and i have an ITUNES account but if not free i will not bother to watch either show

• Based on the two previews on NF today it looks IMO that ONTL will be a win, but the AMC revamp won’t make the cut unless they front-load the first month’s eps with regular characters we have know and loved for years. I’m not talking Lucci – she is not indispensable but in this short preview clip, I recognized about three regulars and that is not enough to sustain a former loyal audience. It’s ok to swap out new actors in grounded roles but it has to be gradual…this whole transition to online is the first step. Pay the oldtime regulars to appear and if they don’t want to continue then gradually replace them – just not all at once. Over on GH there is a new Lulu. No problem at all she will fit right in and be an asset.

• Im not going to like going on line watching my 2 favorite soaps and just for a half hour. Why couldnt it be put on cable TV. That makes sense. Where is the real destiny and Mathew PLEASE BRING THEM BACK PLEASE. Its ok to bring in new characters but for other rolls not for the original role
