NBC’s Today show on Monday plans to show excerpts from interviews with former Penn State University assistant football coach and convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky. “The former longtime defensive coordinator will describe what he says happened on the campus, and what he thinks of whistleblower Mike McQueary and late head coach Joe Paterno,” according to Reuters. Sandusky is serving a prison sentence of 30 to 60 years for his conviction on 45 sex abuse charges involving young boys over a period of 45 years. Filmmaker John Ziegler, who is working on a documentary called The Framing of Joe Paterno, interviewed Sandusky earlier this month in person and via telephone. He’s expected to appear on Monday’s show.

Who wants to see Sandusky make excuses for his criminal behavior and try to pin blame on others? As for Ziegler, is this the same arch conservative kook who got banished from talk radio? I will pass on anything to do with this film. The Today Show must be in the toilet to sink this low.
Disgusting. Shame on the Today show for giving any forum for this sick f**k.
Why is Today giving airtime to this living piece of garbage? Do they like giving airtime to such a monster? Why don’t the producers of Today just come out and say that they support child molesters, because giving him airtime for “his side of the story” is doing exactly that. Guilty is Guilty.
I think a better questioned is why hasn’t NBC revamped Today with better journalist. Especially seeing as though GMA is beating them in the ratings. NBC means Nothing But Crap Crap in the morning, crap in the evening news, crap in primetime , crap in late-night . New slogan this is NBC and we pride ourselves in bringing you Nothing But Crap
What a desperate ploy to attempt to grab ratings from their losing competition with GMA….despicable.
The Today Show should not air this. It is just disgusting. I am one of the people who thought the should have gotten rid of Ann Curry, not in the way that the did, so I have tried to stick it out, but this is the last straw. I think I am going to GMA on Monday.
Business as usual for NBC total disregard for the real victims by giving Sandusky a forum to cry foul and he is the victim poor little Jerry give me a break !! GMA you have my viewership from this day forward hands down.
One more thing “TODAY SHOW” you’re not a reality show wake up show some integrity REALLY!
