• I’d love to know why he decided to do an HBO special after the success of his own self produced, self-distributed special “Live at the Beacon Theater.”

  Was “Beacon Theatre” not as financially successful as some people think, did it get pirated too much to the point it pissed off Louis C.K., or did HBO ‘back up a Brinks truck’ to convince him to abandon self-distribution?
