One of the staples of Fox’s Sunday primetime Animation Domination block is coming to a newsstand near you. Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and Dynamite Entertainment announced today that they’ve partnered to develop a comic based on Bob’s Burgers. “We could not be more pleased to add Bob’s Burgers to the our line of comics,” said Dynamite CEO Nick Barrucci, in a statement Wednesday. “It’s stylish and hilarious, a feel-good concept that can be both heartwarming and mischievous at the same time. When we told our team that we were approaching Fox for the license, everyone lit up at the opportunity.  We look forward to working with our partners at Fox to put out a fantastic product that will appeal to readers of all ages.” The announcement today isn’t the only Comic-Con presence Bob’s Burgers, which debuted on Fox in 2011, will have in San Diego this year. There’s a Bob’s Burgers Comic-Con panel scheduled for July 19 with creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard, executive producer Jim Dauterive and members of the cast.

Dynamite also announced today that they’ve signed a deal with CBS Consumer Products to put together a new Twilight Zone comic book. Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski has been brought on board to write the series based on the classic TV show. Among his many credits including Thor and the screen story for World War Z, Straczynski worked on the Twilight Zone revival back in the late 1980s.
