Things are looking up in South Park. The Season 17 premiere on Wednesday was up big over the Comedy Central show’s Season 16 debut on March 14, 2012. In its highest-rated episode in four years, the 10 PM season opener was up 70% among adults 18-49 with a 1.8 rating, up 76% with adults 18-34 and with 2.887 million watching up 56% in total viewers over the previous cycle’s debut. Over three plays last night, the South Park Season 17 debut drew 4.43 million viewers and was the highest-rated series on cable among the key 18-49 demo for the night. The return of new episodes of Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny after over a year also helped their lead-out. With a 1.0 rating, the second week of Season 3 of Key & Peele. was up 37% among the 18-49s over its September 18 season debut. The 10:30 PM sketch comedy show also rose 49% in the 18-34 demo
