“Breaking Bad”, one of the most brilliant shows in the history of television is ending tonight. Meanwhile “Saturday Night Lame” begins season 39.
Only one woman among six new cast members? What’s up with that?
They had to replace nothing but men after the end of last season. One new woman this season is fine by me.
yeah , I noticed that too. Not a surprise, though. SNL has a long history of male exclusivity.
Don’t cha remember Gilda or Lorraine?
Yeah, so it’s right in line with keeping the Good Ol’ Boys Network of the Western world going strong.
Ooooo-weeee. What’s up with that? What’s up with that?
Chains keep us together….(I bet you get teased a lot…..[giggling'] )
Wow. Six new castmembers and none of them Asian or South Asian or black or multi-racial? C’mon SNL get with the new century. You’re telling me that comics such as Hari Kondabolu or Reggie Watts or Aisha Tyler or Donald Glover or Maysoon Zaid or Shappi Khorsandi or Elicia Sanchez is worthy of a tryout?
There are 2 blacks in the regular cast. It would nice to see an Asian, Latino, or multi-racial added to the cast.
Agree. Just adding one more voice for more diversity. This casting is sad. 90% male, 100% caucasian… seriously? But then again, who watches SNL anymore?
Tina should take a year off. Overexposure.
How great would it have been if when Cicely mentioned the other female Update anchors Jane Curtin rolled in?
