Josh Lucas‘s Michael Bay pilot Occult pilot is kaput, but the actor has added a new indie feature to his docket. He stars in The Mend as the sour and aging Mat, who crashes his younger brother Alan’s party and insinuates himself into Alan’s apartment and life. John Magary wrote and directed the pic, which is produced by Myna Joseph and Michael Prall. Production wrapped last week in NYC. Stephen Plunkett, Lucy Owen, Mickey Sumner, Louisa Krause, Austin Pendleton, Sarah Steele, and Leo Fitzpatrick also star in The Mend. Lucas is repped by WME and Principato Young Entertainment.
