The ‘old’ Miley Cyrus visits present-day Miley Cyrus to warn her about that VMAs performance:

I can’t wait to read all of the smart and successful comedy writers who troll deadline talk about how SNL is dead!!!
It was actually pretty good for once, uneven yes, but the good parts were hilarious. And say what you want about Miley Cyrus, but she does appear to have a good sense of humor and a lot of confidence.
Horrible. Ghastly. Unfunny. What happened to this show? There is usually only one skit per episode that is any good, and the rest of it is fast forward.
Point taken, Mike.
Funny skit. Really great show last night. I am not a fan of hers but Miley did a great job and was game to make fun of herself. Even her 2 song performances were well done and smart to do a acoustic version of Can’t Stop. Can we say already Noel Wells is breaking out of the pack of the new kids. Why they added 5 white guys is beyond me.
To replace three white guys with the expectation that at least two of them aren’t going to make it?
C’mon, cut Lorne a beak! In a population of over 7 million, how many funny black people can there be in New York? No, I’m afraid only white guys fit the bill.
The worst show on TV just got worse.
Funny? Great show? Is that you Lorne Michaels?
Yes I watched, but like a lame horse, it’s time we just end this crap-fest already. Unfunny writing by timid, conformist writers.
SNL is the new Madtv: half-assed parodies with lame material. You’d think with all that Hannah Montana experience Miley wouldn’t be looking up at the cue cards the whole skit.
That skit has now made her situation worse.
I was skeptical of the new cast, but Episode 2 was pretty good and Miley was way funnier than I thought she would be. Great musical performances to, and nice there was no lip syncing going on!
Aw, she didn’t say “it was pretty kewl!” I thought that was the catchphrase.
Nothing funny about this show – was it written by 8 year olds. Not one person in my house laughed, in fact it was embarrassingly bad.
