EXCLUSIVE: Sienna Miller will star with Ryan Reynolds and Ben Mendelsohn in Mississippi Grind, the next film by Half Nelson’s Ryan Fleck & Anna Boden. Production starts in New Orleans in January. Electric City Entertainment’s Jamie Patricof & Lynette Howell are producing with Tom Rice & Ben Nearn of Sycamore Entertainment. The latter is funding the film, and most recently sold the John Carney-directed Toronto sensation Can A Song Save Your Life and funded The Way Way Back. Panorama is selling the film at AFM.

Down on his luck and facing financial hardhip, a man teams up with a younger charismatic poker player in an attempt to change his luck. The two set off on a road trip through the South with visions of winning back what has been lost.

Electric City is coming off The Place Beyond The Pines, and just wrapped the Tim Burton-directed Big Eyes. Jeremy Kipp Walker, John Lesher, Randall Emmett and George Furla are exec producers. WME Global packaged the film and will make the domestic deal and Miller is repped by UK-based United Agents, The Schiff Company and WME.
