EXCLUSIVE: David Lillard, a partner at IFA, and his longtime colleague, Christy Hall, are joining Paradigm as agents, effective immediately. Lillard had been an agent at IFA since its inception in January 1995, and Hall joined IFA in 2002. Deadline broke the story that Ilene Feldman decided to fold her Ilene Feldman Agency after 19 years and become a manager and join LBI at year’s end. She and longtime IFA partner Wendy Murphey will join LBI as talent managers, and that left Lillard and Hall to make their way since they are staying agents. They are expected to bring most of their clients with them to Paradigm. There are several standout clients, including Angelina Jolie and Ryan Gosling. THR is reporting that Jolie went to UTA.
“IFA was an agency built on quality, collaboration and professionalism,” said Lillard and Hall in a joint statement. “We feel a tremendous responsibility to continue in this tradition, and that is why we chose Paradigm. Paradigm also affords us the best opportunity to represent our clients in an collaborative environment where the artist comes first.”
Feldman, who might well be sharing clients with the duo as manager, endorsed the move. “Paradigm is the perfect home for them and all the clients we have shared together over the years,” she said. “David and Christy’s passion and devotion to our clients is unmatchable. I know if I was an actor, I could not hope for anyone better to have as one of my representatives.”
Said Paradigm chairman/CEO Sam Gores, “David and Christy are consummate professionals, have great taste, and will fit perfectly into the Paradigm culture.”
