CBS introduced its Monday Fall Lineup 2.0 last night with the return of Mike & Molly, which made its debut as a 9 PM anchor. The fourth-season premiere drew a 2.6 in adults 18-49, down 16% from last fall at 9:30 PM for the comedy’s lowest-rated opener. But the realities for CBS on Mondays are very different this fall, and a 2.6 rating adds stability to a lineup in need of one. Mike & Molly also was up a big 37% from its May finale. Departing How I Met Your Mother (3.4) continues to be CBS’ shining light on Monday, up 17% from last week’s fast national. The veteran posted its first win over NBC’s The Voice (3.4 vs. 3.3) in the 8-8:30 PM half hour. The tide didn’t lift 8:30 PM’s 2 Broke Girls (2.6), which matched its fast national from last week. Mike & Molly held onto 2 Broke Girls‘ 2.6 but Mom (2.0) slipped a tenth to tie a series low. Ditto for Hostages (1.1).

NBC’s The Voice (3.6) again is slowing down the stretch, down 14% from its fast national last week. The Blacklist (2.9) slipped 6% to a Live+Same Day low, though the rookie drama has been making up a lot of ground in DVR viewing, adding some 50% to its tally in the first three days. There was little damage from the two-week hiatus for another big DVR gainer, Fox’s Sleepy Hollow (2.5), which returned down a tenth from its most recent original’s fast national to a new low. Considering the dramatic drops other Fox freshman series have suffered after a multi-week fall pre-emption, like New Girl, this is OK. Bones (2.0) was down two tenths from the most recent original. ABC’s Dancing With The Stars (2.1) was flat with last week, while Castle (2.4) shot up 14% to a season high. However, ABC had football and local news pre-emptions, and adjustments are likely, possibly down by a tenth. (UPDATE 2 PM: Dancing was adjusted down a tenth, Castle down two tenths.) Still, Dancing (14.4 million viewers) is expected to outdraw The Voice (11.6 million) in total viewers for a second consecutive week. The CW’s Hart Of Dixie (0.4) and Beauty And The Beast (0.3) were status quo.
