Game Of Thrones alumna Michelle Fairley is joining Fox’s event series 24: Live Another Day in a major recurring role. She succeeds originally cast Judy Davis who pulled out last week for personal reasons. 24: Live Another Day, from 20th TV, Imagine TV and Teakwood Lane, picks up the story four years after the 24 series finale, which left Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) as a fugitive from justice. Four years later, he is back on the run, this time in London. Fairley will play Margot, a British national and the widow of a notorious terrorist. Irish screen and stage actress Fairley, repped by Paradigm and CAM, is probably best known for her role as the tragic Catelyn Stark on HBO’s Game Of Thrones and for playing Mrs. Granger in the Harry Potter movie franchise. She recently did a season-long arc on USA’s Suits and was seen in The Invisible Woman and Philomena.
