Steve Talley is set as one of the leads in Lauren Iungerich’s ABC comedy pilot Damaged Goods. Described as a comedy about the sexual politics that have changed between men and women in this post-feminist era, it revolves around three damaged women and two damaged men who explore the minutiae of love and relationships. Talley, repped by Domain and Framework, will play one of the men, Jason, a lovable ladies man who sabotages his relationships. He’s coming off FX pilot Death Pact and is currently recurring on The Crazy Ones.
John Gemberling has been added to Marry Me, NBC’s single-camera comedy pilot from David Caspe, about a young couple, Jake (Marino) and Annie (Wilson), who get engaged, something they quickly realize is harder than it looks. Gemberling, repped by CAA and Principato-Young, will play Gil, Jake’s best friend, who’s divorced and pines over his ex-girlfriend. He has been recurring on ABC’s Super Fun Night and Comedy Central’s Broad City.
