Written and executive produced by Damages creators Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler (KZK), the 13-episode series centers on a close-knit family of four adult siblings (Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz) whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother (Mendelsohn) returns home. Kirshner, repped by APA, Wishlab and Characters, most recently shot a guest role on ABC pilot Clementine. Zuaiter, repped by Stone Manners Salners Agency and Ramos Management, will play Major Eckhardt, a mysterious authority figure in the Florida Keys who is having an affair with Meg Rayburn (Linda Cardellini). Zuaiter is coming off a starring role in the Oscar-nominated film Omar.

photoElaine Tan has been cast in a recurring role in Amazon Studios’ drama pilot Hand Of God, written by Ben Watkins and and directed by Marc Forster. It centers on the powerful Judge Harris Pernell (Ron Perlman), a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side who has a religious awakening and starts having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son that could be God speaking to him. Tan, repped by SDB Partners and Mosaic, will play Anne, an Ivy league educated assistant whose eagerness and drive turn into opportunism and betrayal. She will next be seen in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice and Gina Prince-Bythewood’s Blackbird.

Mario Van Peebles has landed a recurring rolemariovan1 on CBS’ untitled David Marshall Grant pilot, formerly known as Only Human. The medical drama, from Carl Beverly and Sarah Timberman’s Timberman/Beverly and CBS TV Studios, is based on an Israeli format, revolves around quadruplets — three brothers and a sister — who grew up on a reality show. Peebles, repped by Mavrick Artists and Luber Roklin, will play Dr. Potter, who runs the hospital where the family works. Peebles recently directed multiple episodes of Nashville and Once Upon A Time for ABC.

erniehudson1Ernie Hudson has been cast in a recurring role on CBS‘ drama pilot Scorpion, from writer Nick Santora, director Justin Lin, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. It centers on Walter (Elyes Gabel), an eccentric genius and his international network of super-geniuses who form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age. Hudson, repped by Mavrick Artists, will play Brooks, the head Air Traffic Controller at LAX who knows how to read a computer screen and assign planes to runways but knows less than nothing about how his computer system actually works. Hudson is coming off Franklin And Bash as a recurring. He’s also appeared on Rizzoli & Isles and Mob City.
