Greta Lee The NestGreta Lee (Girls, Wayward Pines) has joined the cast of Universal’s The Nest, the Amy Poehler-Tina Fey comedy about two grown sisters who throw one last party in their parents’ soon-to-be-sold house. Lee, who’s one of the stars of Inside Amy Schumer‘s viral “I’m So Bad” sketch, will play Hae Won, a young mother who by chance gets a pity invite to the party. It’s her second Poehler-EP’ed project after NBC pilot Old Soul, which Lee starred in opposite Natasha Lyonne and Ellen Burstyn. James Brolin recently joined the cast of The Nest, which is directed by Pitch Perfect‘s Jason Moore from a script from SNL writer Paula Pell. Fey is producing for Little Stranger Inc. alongside Jay Roach for Everyman Pictures and John Lyons. Jeff Richmond and Brian Bell are also exec producing with Poehler. Lee’s credits include Hello I Must Be Going, HairBrained, and the upcoming St. Vincent de Van Nuys with Bill Murray and The Cobbler from director Thomas McCarthy. She’s repped by CAA, Regarding Entertainment, and Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein.

cary elwesIndie drama The Greens Are Gone has added Cary Elwes to its cast. Peer Pedersen is directing the story of a matriarch of a dysfunctional family (Catherine Keener) who’s pushed to her limits by the disappearance of her son (Anton Yelchin). Elwes will play Frank, a local in the town who has a dark past. He recently joined the cast of indie dark comedy/thriller Sugar Mountain opposite Jason Momoa. Elwes will next appear in indie H8RZ, Reach Me, and Behaving Badly and recently filmed USA pilot Horizon for producer Gale Ann Hurd. Elwes is repped by KLWGN and APA.
