Things are only now returning to normal after my website crashed this morning right after The Drudge Report picked up my most recent Dark Knight posting. A crash like that isn't supposed to happen because DHD is built to handle Drudge-type massive traffic. But I'm told today's traffic was 25% more than the server farm had seen from DHD even in the past year of Drudge pick-ups. So we've had to add even more servers. This pic is HUGE!

It’s gonna be bigger than New Coke!
While the crashing is almost as big a nuisance as I am, I do hope you get as much traffic as you can handle. Because folks need to know about what’s really going on in the media without reading about what starlet is running around with what married whatever.
Keep up the great work.
There hasn’t been this much excitement about a film’s opening since Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman.
Warner Bros. at that time had to pull advance TV ads and trailers a month before the movie’s opening because fans were causing chaos at the theaters by sneaking in to see the trailer and stealing the character cut-outs in the lobby.
My local theater literally had a riot in the lobby on opening day by people waiting up to four hours to see the movie. Police were called and a couple of people were arrested for causing a disturbance.
It seems history is repeating itself.
Sounds like a good time to ask for a raise. I mean there are actors in these films.
As well as writers and directors and crew.

Great, more Drudge traffic! So this means we can look forward to lots and lots of hateful postings from religious nutjobs about how Batman is corrupting their morals, right? Whoohoo!
Wow Nikki.
You shd be aware by now of your growing readers. Many of us here check in your site everyday, every few hours, sometimes hourly.
No wonder I didn’t see all my postings posted last 24hours.

Jared, can’t help to agree with you. Get ready for the Nutters. They are very much alive out there
Eeeeeyeeew, you link to Drudge?
@Jared: I was thinking along those lines, also. The comments section will go to hell if Drudge traffic consistently starts flooding the site and people rave on about all things irrelevant to Hollywood and this site
Keep monitoring those comments, Nikki
I think that tells us all we need to know about how big this is gonna be. Personally I think they should remove Hancock from the theaters and put in more DK so more people can see it this weekend.
