I just heard that The CW has ordered the back 9 episodes for 90210. Also, ABC has ordered 8 extra scripts to add to its original order of 13 episodes of Mike Judge's midseason animated series Good Family. (Network bigwigs liked the animatics that much...) And HBO will announce it's renewing Entourage for a 6th season.
(FYI, sparse posting because I needed a personal day. Back full-time tomorrow.)

I just want the Entourage to be about something…you know, like it was Season 1-2.
That’s great news about more Entourage. But maybe for the millions of people who don’t have HBO they can release the seasons early on DVD.
Surely announcing a new (sixth) season of Entourage is a mere formality at this point for HBO considering how big the show is.
Also the extra scripts order for MRC’s Good(e?) Family bodes well but I’m sure that when it comes to actually airing the show ABC won’t know what to do with it.
Entourage laughs at the Networks. You notice no one cares about reality shows anymore
yessss!!!! Viva Entourage!
I’m confused. Does anyone actually watch Entourage??
Yes, Aquamen are back! I like where this season is going. Vinnie finally realizes that pissing his money away and copping a lazy attitude have consequences.
Now, where is Flight of the Conchords season 2 at?
I love Entourage, although last season was a bit of a chore. But this season seems to be more on track.
Entourage – It’s kind of getting old, I am tired of Jeremy Piven doing the same thing over and over and giving agents a bad name. Not all of us are assholes that yell at our co-workers. He should not have won the Emmy for acting like himself, not much of a stretch.
“90210″’s awful, and the back nine order looks like a Hail Mary pass. How secure is Ostroff’s job? Moreover, with the limited profits generated post-merger, her bosses must be wondering if there’s a good reason for the CW to exist at all.
Entourage is committed to 8 seasons. Its like LOST. There is a long term plan. This season has been better than ever and real fans are sticking around to see where Doug Ellin will take us.
Entourage is BRILLIANT. Yes, it’s male-fantasy and it tends to exagerate the business, but there have been so many moments, both big and small, that ring true. The satire is perfect in my estimation. Having worked at multiple agencies for a variety of agents (and even as one myself for about 6 months before I realized that I was essentially a pimp in better clothes) I can attest to the fact that Ari Gold is the SPITTING IMAGE of many agents that I crossed paths with. He behaves like a prick because agents are all pricks. It’s that simple, really.
HBO has to reup Entourage. What the hell else are they going to air for the 24 hours a day the channel is on the air? True Blood?
