EXCLUSIVE: There'll be no formal announcement. But I've learned that movie comedy mogul Judd Apatow is not going to jump to CAA, Endeavor or any other agency. He's staying put at United Talent Agency with his point person David Kramer, the UTA partner who was recently upped to the governing board of the tenpercentery. There had been a lot of speculation around Hollywood that the multi-hyphenate writer, director and producer might follow Nick Stevens to Endeavor, or sign with CAA where most of his manager Jimmy Miller's other clients are now represented. (There'd been a steady exodus of them from UTA and ICM to there.) Believe me, UTA would have sat shiva if Apatow had left the agency.

I figure he thinks he doesn’t need to move around because things are going pretty good for him as it is. His films are affordable, budget wise, most make obese profits, and since he, or his posse, are the instigators of these projects, he doesn’t really need to be a gun for hire.
Looks like Jimmy Miller wears the pants in that relationship.
I’m not surprised that he didn’t move. If i’m not wrong,the heavy lifting agency side has been and remains UTA, no?
Over the last couple of years there’s been a trend with managers like Miller calling the shots when it comes to client representation. I can’t help but wonder i there will be a time when agencies gain more control and people like Miller are sorry about the number of agents from competing agencies they soured by trowing their line to a given agency (like CAA in Miller’s case).
Just ask Jim Carrey how Jimmy Miller is working out for him…
Sure, he will stay with UTA. They will sure to give him anything he demands..oops..wants, coz he is their goldmine, for the moment that is.
Wait till he starts producing flops (won’t be long, given the same script he’s been cloning) then surprise-surprise, off he is to another agency. Wait & see…
