Anthony Pellicano, the wiretapping Hollywood private eye turned convicted felon, finally found out his fate. U.S. District Judge Dale Fischer gave him a prison sentence of 15 years and ordered the 64-year-old Pellicano and two other defendants to forfeit a total of $2 million. Pellicano showed no emotion when the sentence was read, according to The AP. "I have taken full and complete responsibility," he said. He had been convicted of a combined 78 counts, including wiretapping, racketeering and wire fraud, in two separate trials earlier this year. I'm told he gets no credit for time served.

…and the rats were allowed to flee the sinking ship and run free! Whuddagwatewoildwelivesin!
YOU WIRETAPPED BIG STARS FOR DOUGH.
LIKE SOME PRIVATE INVESTIGATING HO.
BUT YOU NEVER SAW,
THE LONG ARM OF THE LAW.
NOW YOU’RE THE BITCH OF SOME GUY NAMED ROSCOE.
Steven, this is some great coverage! Well AP is going to be almost 80 when he gets his next pizza at Mulberry Street. One thing for sure is this, lawyers and other P.I.s in this country should be grateful that he is no longer available. Several lawyers in ‘this’ town will now have to practice law the old fashion way…no more Anthony’s magic show! He was the best in his time and I would not count him out……he has to have an encore.
Also I hope that his wife and children have a successful go at having their own show.
John J. Nazarian, P.I.
Back in the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and even the 70’s it was the studio cops that did all of the illegal tapping, intimidation and the roughing up of potential witnesses. I wonder if Pellicano was the last of that crooked way of silencing witnesses in Hollywood legal matters.
Now even the P.I.’s want the crumbs leftover.
What about the ones they didn’t get? Finger to side of nose!
