looks very good
plus you have virtuality to come in 2009
Glad “House” is moving back to Tuesdays, but it’ll seem a little odd to have it at 8. Of course no one really respects the “family hour” anymore, but still . . .
I hate to have it moving to Wednesdays at midseason, though. Bad night for me, and I can’t see any reason to move it out of that spot behind “Idol” where it always did so well.
Hopefully Sit Down Stand up gets a chance to succeed. Maybe that’ll be the final straw for King of the Hill then. It survived just about anything for the past several years but with Chief Manatee’s new deal, perhaps its time is near an end.
And I wouldn’t be shocked if the Simpsons ends very soon. Despite it still being a hit, there’s the recent controversy with the voice actors wanting a pay raise and the impeding SAG strike. The Simpsons may not have many new episodes next season and FOX will grow very impatient with them and perhaps cut it loose and set it free. I wouldn’t miss it since the last several seasons have been ranging from bad to shitty.
Wow, what trash.
We’ll be watching nothing on Fox.
Sorry to hijack the Fox upfront announcements, but I have a question I was hoping you fine folks could answer. Being a Brit, this isn’t something I know too much about. Do the cable networks (such as HBO, Sci-Fi and FX) announce their schedules at some point? I can’t seem to find any handy compiled info about what new and returning shows there are. Any links would be ace, thanks.
Hey, nice that Prison Break is back at it’s 9PM timeslot.
Fringe, which I’m excited about, got the cushiest slot by far, post-House and then post-American Idol, with no change in its day or time for mid-season. Does this mean FOX has a lot of faith in it, or is worried about it?
Hmm. The American Idol results show is back to a half hour. It’s about time Fox did that–considering the ratings drop, I’d bet viewers are getting sick of 30 seconds of content and 43.5 minutes of hot air.
Till Death doesn’t seem to need ratings for Fox to keep it on…Who is watching this boring show.
re: fringe
answer: faith in it.
