Where are all the NEY-sayers now???? And Nikki, please refer to him as Michael. Jacko is such a sensationalized name. Its truly beneath the service you provide.
I agree. Nikki, referring to Michael as Jacko is tabloid faire. It’s Ok to be snarky without being disrespectful.
Agreed. This is a “go-to” blog. It’s informative, fast and really fun. It doesn’t need any tabloid tactics to keep us coming back for more goodies. In fact, make it like a tabloid and many of us will stay away. “Jacko” is a negative tag, and it certainly doesn’t presume him to be innocent.
The Michael Jackson film evokes empathy. It’s also very effective in showing an artist at work. It’s a wonder to behold. The movie is doing well because it is good.
TOLDJA!
(It made back it’s money, – and then sum!).
Didnt we all have this conversation last week?.
Not saying its the greatest movie ever, or will do Titanic BO,
but it just needed to make back its seed capital.
Done. Next.
If only they hadn’t spent so much on advertising and rushing it to screens maybe they would already be making a profit, after Jackson’s family/AEG gets their cut of course but I’m sure it’ll only drop 40% or so this weekend without baseball to compete with so they’ll be fine. I agree with SonyEmployee…they’re going to make a killing on this movie in the long run!
I’m glad that “This Is It” has reached grossed $100 million. I saw the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it.
So can they now afford to pay back the city for the show/funeral/celebration/promotion, or whatever it was called?
I was reluctant to see this movie, but after much discussion with my other half we went to see it last night. Wow…I wasn’t expecting much but I came out a convert.
What a wonderful piece of film. Just amazing. And what a lost.
As soon as I saw the movie last week, i knew its run would get extended…it’s really too great for it to not be seen by as many people as possible, its a great way to see Michael behind the scenes, and really just a very well done movie…makes you want to see more..
