Hope they don’t pull out of this joint venture like they did with Fox on Halo.
And for being only one person you’re pretty damn prolific.
I don’t think that Quentin hates Harvey that much anymore.
Bet they were anxious to cash in on Brad leaving them high and dry on State of Play. By the way, with such a cast, how did that turn out? I haven’t heard anything.
She meant Universal hates Harvey.
While Tarantino movies get alot of hype while there in the production stage the reality of there box-office is never it’s equal. GRINDHOUSE(which I paid to see and really liked) had as much buzz on the net as any film in years but had no mass audience when it hit theaters. On paper “Inglorious Bastards” seems like a really cool idea but again, will it appeal to a general audience besides the fanboy crowd! I have my doubts.
Elliot: State of Play finished filming in April and is currently set for release in 2009. I was wondering why Universal and Working Title would wait so long until I found out that their fall slates are pretty full. Universal is pinning its OScar hopes on Changeling while WT is going to be busy with Frost/Nixon (with U), Burn After Reading (Focus Features) and The Soloist (DreamWorks). Methinks Universal will position that as one of their fall 2009 contenders, joined possibly by Public Enemies (depending on whether they go with the rumored July date or move it to October–which is largely vacant).
