EXCLUSIVE: I’ve learned that UTA has hired CAA agent Darren Boghosian for its talent department. (And, no, this is not related to UTA talent agent Darren Statt wanting to leave for CAA. Just a coincidence of names.) Boghosian has been at CAA since 2002 and reps Jenna Elfman, Christian Slater, Michael Landes, Jaime Pressly, Alyssa Milano, Connie Nielsen, Kevin Costner, Justin Kirk, Anthony Anderson, Katharine McPhee, Sally Pressman, Rhys Coiro, Stephanie Szostack and others. But no word yet on which clients will be following him out the door. "He's smart, aggressive and well-liked around town, the kind of young agent we like to invest in,” a UTA insider tells me. Meanwhile, I’m told that UTA and CAA are working to settle out talent agent Darren Statt by the end of next week.

this guy is a douchebag…and not the nicest person, he’s an a-hole. also the clients he REPS are Jenna Elfman (please) and Rhys Coiro (Please). All the other ones you listed are repped by other CAA Agents guaranteed none follow him.

Darren Statt should stop making comments on nikki….it is soooo evident when he pens an email, which he prides himself on. A little insight…Darren Statt’s favorite word is douchebag.
I’m a casting director, so I have a neutral point of view, clearly unlike many of you posting. I have never posted anything on here….probably never will again but I couldn’t leave this alone. These comments are pretty funny. I’m embarrassed for you people. “Douchebag”? “Programmed robot”? “No personality”? Really? Wow. If any of you have actually MET or even SPOKEN to Darren, I would be utterly shocked. Because if you had, you would know just how off base you are. There are plenty of people in this business you COULD be talking about but I assure you, Darren is not one of them. He’s actually a diamond in the rough. He’s honest, respectable and friendly all while being a kick-ass agent. He fights for his clients. He believes in people. He says what he means and isn’t afraid to have an opinion. He operates with integrity, as difficult as people find that to do in Hollywood for some reason. He’s a stellar human being and a great agent and he’s just getting started.
No, I think those “douchebag” comments were accurate, though perhaps not strong enough. Boghosian is a guy who no one liked internally. He treated people with an utter lack of respect, while somehow not realizing that he himself was a nobody. He’s a miserable, failed actor who takes his self-hatred out on the rest of the world.
