Reminder: CBS corporate executives move to the third floor of the Studio City Broadcast Center from Television City this weekend. Meanwhile, LAObserved.com has obtained this really asswipe of an internal memo from Director Of Security Mike Skinner warning all Studio City Broadcast Center employees, vendors, and guests beginning today that "ALL parking spaces along the west side of the Broadcast Center, except the two handicap spaces, will be assigned to the 3rd floor CBS Corporate Executives. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE PARK IN THESE SPACES AT ANY TIME... Vehicles parked in unauthorized spaces will be ticketed for the 1st offense and subject to the wheel boot 'Denver Boot' pictured below for a 2nd offense, resulting in a $25 fine to have it removed. Those who already have been ticketed in the past will have the wheel boot installed on the next offense."
Another Reason To Hate Network Suits...

Pampered, prissy punks. So let me get this straight: CBS execs get to park close to the building rather than in a horrid parking garage because:
A) they’re unfit, delicate little wimps
B) by parking closer than the rank and file they can actually Get More Work Done
C) they’re selfish, arrogant asses who think what they do is Actually Important and thus they’re entitled to perks and privleges undeserving of mere Human Beings.
Nikki, your title says it all.
How is the memo “asswipe” and why is this newsworthy? Ok, gossipworthy? Does this come as a surprise? Is there anything unusual about preferred parking for execs? This is standard operating procedure. BFD.
I kept visualizing Otto Preminger in a Wermacht uniform reading that memo to CBS employees and closing it with: “Zere ees no escape from Stalag CBS and all who try to escape vill be shot!”
Meanwhile Steve McQueen, Dickie Attenborough, and Bill Holden are designing a tunnel to go under the parking spaces and freedom.
And they canceled Jericho.
Another reason to hate Nikki’s biased site: this type of reporting.
First, who gives a shit that the Executives get to park close to their building? Don’t they have the right to park close, as their title dictates more perks?
Second, if you read the full text of the memo issued, the mention of tickets and boots has to do with people parking in the structure, NOT alongside the building. Yet Nikki in her infinite wisdom has to slam the “suits” to make the working men and women feel better when they read her site.
99% of business in this country have preferred parking for Management. THIS IS NOT NEWSWORTHY.
Which company DOESN’T have preferred parking for management? LOL, dumbest post ever.
And what makes CBS executives so special? shouldn’t they be focusing on their crappy of a sister network The CW? Instead of pampering the executives that do nothing?
Les probably wanted a shiny new window to look out, while he just sits at his desk and does nothing.
Nice. This just gives us classier cars to shit on.
I can’t wait to see what happens if Julie Chen parks there!
Plus any actors that film their shows at Radford St.
Are the 2 handicap spaces reserved for Les and Julie?
I take it this is the Radford facility. Thanks for the heads up Nikki.
