Scott Eastwood Revs Up ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’

EXCLUSIVE: Scott Eastwood, the youngest son of actor/director Clint Eastwood, has been set for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, the John Luessenhop-directed franchise reboot that starts production this week in Louisiana. Eastwood will play the role of Carl, the male lead, and the deal calls for him to be part of what is envisioned as a trilogy. Lionsgate will distribute the film that’s being produced by Carl Mazzocone and exec produced by Avi Lerner and Mark Burg.

Eastwood has been acting mostly in indies, and recently completed the Charles Burmeister-directed Epic, the Jack Heller-directed Enter Nowhere and the Lawrence Roeck-directed Carmel. He has also played roles in films his father directed, Invictus, Gran Torino and Flags of Our Fathers. He’s repped by UTA and Joanne Horowitz Management.

Tania Raymonde Joins ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’

EXCLUSIVE: Tania Raymonde (Lost) has been cast in a lead role in Nu Image’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, which Takers helmer John Luessenhop will direct, Carl Mazzocone will produce and Lionsgate will distribute. Raymonde will play Nikki, a small-town girl with an attitude who is the best friend of Heather (Alexandra Daddario), who travels to small-town Texas to collect her inheritance, which includes her deranged cousin Leatherface. Avi Lerner and Mark Burg are producing. Raymonde is repped by ABA and Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin.

Lionsgate Revs Chainsaw Again

Lionsgate announced that it is teaming with Nu Image on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, a film that will be sold at Cannes. Takers helmer John Luessenhop will direct and Carl Mazzocone will produce.
