A September premiere date has been announced for A&E Network’s Coma. The four-hour epic thriller from Ridley and Tony Scott is about a young doctor (Lauren Ambrose) who discovers that something sinister is going on in her hospital after routine procedures send more than a few seemingly healthy patients into comas on the operating table. It’s a modern retelling of the bestselling novel by Robin Cook and based on the film by Michael Crichton.
In addition to Ambrose (Six Feet Under) it features a multiple Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning cast, including Steven Pasquale (Rescue Me), Geena Davis, James Woods, Ellen Burstyn and Richard Dreyfuss. It premieres Monday, September 3 and concludes Tuesday, September 4, airing at 9 PM on both nights. Coma is produced by Sony Pictures Television for A&E Network.
