Jack Kilmer Joins Juno Temple In ‘Len & Co.’; David Mazouz Cast In ’6 Miranda Drive’

Jack KilmerJack Kilmer has been cast in Len & Co., an indie drama from director Tim Godsall. The pic follows a surly record producer who embarks on a journey to compassion and love when his son (Kilmer) arrives at his home in hopes of reconnecting and bonding with his father. Juno Temple plays the son’s music protege friend. Production begins this weekend in Toronto. Kilmer made his feature debut in Gia Coppola’s Palo Alto, which co-stars his father Val Kilmer. He is repped by Principato Young Entertainment, Resolution Entertainment and Hirsch, Wallerstein, Hayum, Matlof and Fishman.

David MazouzDavid Mazouz has booked a role in 6 Miranda Drive, the Blumhouse thriller directed by Greg Mclean. Kevin Bacon stars in the film about a family that unwittingly brings a supernatural force home with them from vacation. Mazouz starred on Fox’s Touch and will play young Bruce Wayne in the network’s Batman prequel Gotham. He recently finished shooting Blumhouse’s Incarnate with Aaron Eckhart and next appears in The Games Maker. The actor is repped by Paradigm, Intellectual Artists Management and Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein.

‘Touch’ Star David Mazouz To Play Bruce Wayne In Fox Batman Drama ‘Gotham’

David MazouzTwelve-year-old David Mazouz, who played the young lead opposite Kiefer Sutherland in Touch, is taking on a lead role in another Fox drama series, the Batman prequel Gotham. He will play the iconic comic book character of Bruce Wayne who will grow up to become the Caped Crusader. Also cast in the project, based on DC characters from the Batman universe, is newcomer Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle and future Catwoman. Gotham explores the origin stories of Commissioner James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as an idealistic rookie detective in Gotham City, along with Wayne and the villains who made Gotham City famous. The preteen Wayne is sentenced to a solitary life after the tragic murder of his wealthy parents and relies on the guidance and protection of Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) and Gordon.

Mazouz’s casting stems from a talent deal Fox bicondovainked with him following Touch‘s cancellation in May after two seasons. He was an early choice of WBTV for the role, and the studio stuck with him throughout the casting process. Rounding out the regular cast of Gotham is Bicondova as Selina Kyle, a teenage orphan, skilled street thief and pickpocket who is dangerous when cornered. David Mazouz Cast In ‘Incarnate’; Otto Bathurst To Direct Kevin Costner In ‘Midnight Delivery’; William Moseley Books Pair Of Film Roles

David Mazouz has booked a lead role in director Brad Peyton’s thriller Incarnate. He will play a boy found by an unconventional exorcist (Aaron Eckhart) who is possessed by a demon from the man’s past. Jason Blum is producing and Couper Samuelson exec producing with Michael Seitzman and Trevor Engelson. Mazouz recently wrapped Disney International’s The Games Maker and starred as Kiefer Sutherland’s son on Fox’s Touch. He is repped by Paradigm, Intellectual Artists Management and attorney Marcy Morris.

Otto Bathurst will direct Universal’s Midnight Delivery, about a man (Kevin Costner) who tries to save his estranged daughter from Colombian cocaine traffickers. Neil Cross penned the screenplay based on an original story by Guillermo del Toro, who will produce along with David Lind. Bathurst most recently helmed the BBC mini Peaky Blinders, which the Weinstein Company acquired this week, and also helmed the pilot for the UK series Black Mirror and the Beeb’s mini Criminal Justice, which HBO is remaking. He’s repped by WME, Casarotto Ramsay & Associates in the UK and attorney Michael Schenkman.
