EXCLUSIVE: Live With Regis & Kelly co-host Kelly Ripa was with WME, and her husband Mark Consuelos was with Innovative. CAA’s Bryan Lourd not only signed them but also their production company Milojo Productions, which has made several shows for TLC. The question now is whether Consuelos might replace Regis Philbin as Kelly’s co-host. In a recent People magazine poll, Consuelos scored big over other contenders like Survivor‘s Jeff Probst.
EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Prods. has come on board to co-produce with Charlie Corwin’s Original Media the second season of the docu-series Be Good Johnny Weir, which chronicles the flamboyant figure skater as he mounts his upcoming ice skating stage show Spectacular. The 10-episode second season is now in production for a summer run on the gay-centered cable channel Logo. Additionally, Milojo and Original Media, along with Weir’s Fireworks Management, will spearhead the development and production of Spectacular.
EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Ripa is ready for more daytime-primetime double duty with Port Love, a new comedy project at ABC. Ripa and her husband, actor Mark Consuelos, will co-write the story for the single-camera project, with Consuelos set to star and Ripa to recur. Both will executive produce through their production company Milojo Prods. Port Love, from ABC Studios, is a workplace comedy set at a formerly popular network series and revolves around the cast and crew who have more backstage drama in their lives than in the actual show they’re working on. Jeffrey Hodes and Nastaran Dibai (According to Jim) will co-write the story with Ripa and Consuelos. Hodes and Dibai will write the script and will executive produce with the 2 actors and Aaron Kaplan of Kapital Entertainment. Ripa and Consuelos’ producing partner Albert Bianchini also is expected to produce the project, which has received script commitment.
