Odette Annable To Star In ABC Series ‘The Astronaut Wives Club’

Odette AnnableHouse alumna Odette Annable is set as one of the main leads in ABC‘s 10-episode summer drama series The Astronaut Wives Club, from Fake Empire, Groundswell Productions and ABC Studios. Written by Stephanie Savage based on Lily Koppel’s book, it tells the real story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race. Annable will play Trudy Cooper, the youngest of the Astro-wives and a licensed pilot herself.

Odette Annable & Bruce Greenwood To Star In ABC’s Pilot ‘Venice’ Directed By McG

Bruce GreenwoodOdette AnnableOdette Annable (Breaking In) and Bruce Greenwood (The River) have been cast in ABC‘s Romeo & Juliet-esque drama pilot Venice. Written by Byron Balasco, directed by McG and executive produced by Ilene Chaiken,  Venice is a soap about the haves and the have-nots of California’s most seductive city, Venice. It focuses on two rival families, the Nances and the Carvers, and a forbidden and dangerous romance emerging between them as the families battle for control of Venice. Annable will play Sophie Nance, the owner of the hippest boutique in Venice, who falls in love with the offspring of her family’s archenemies, Chris Carver. Castings: ‘Are We Officially Dating?’ And ‘The Truth About Lies’

Michael B. Jordan has joined the cast of Are We Officially Dating? Zac Efron and Imogen Poots also star. Tom Gormican is writing and directing the project about three New York guys who pledge to stay single even if they fall in love. Jordan also stars in Fruitvale with Octavia Spencer produced by Forest Whitaker and his Significant Productions partner Nina Yang. He also appeared in Anthony Hemingway’s Red Tails, Chronicle and on TV had recurring roles on Parenthood and Friday Night Lights. Jordan is repped by The Schieff Co. and UTA.

Fran Kranz and Odette Annable have roles in The Truth About Lies, the story of an emotional but self-centered drifter. Kranz has the lead role of Gilby, an aimless guy who’s fired from a dead-end job, dumped by his girlfriend and forced to move in with his mother when his apartment building burns down. Annable will play Rachel, a restless twentysomething looker married to money. The Truth About Lies is directed by Phil Allocco and produced by Steve Carr, Jason Taragan, Isen Robbins, Aimee Schoof and Nadine C. Odette Annable To Recur On CBS’ ‘Golden Boy’, Byron Mann On CW’s ‘Arrow’

EXCLUSIVE: House alumna Odette Annable has been tapped for a recurring role on CBS’ midseason drama Golden Boy, about the meteoric rise of a cop (Theo James) from his days as an officer to detective to police commissioner. Annable will play ADA Kat O’Connor, a young, attractive Assistant District Attorney with a complicated marital history who prosecutes cases brought by the squad. Annable also just booked a recurring role on the upcoming Cinemax drama Banshee, marking the second consecutive year that the actress will juggle two series simultaneously after doing Fox’s House and Breaking In last season.

Byron Mann has landed a recurring role on CW’s new drama series Arrow. In a multi-episode arc, Mann will play “an enigmatic man who has a complex connection to Oliver Queen/Arrow (Stephen Amell). Mann also plays a villain in Universal Pictures’ upcoming The Man With The Iron Fists, presented by Quentin Tarantino and starring RZA, Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. He also wrapped the upcoming Bangkok-set thriller A Stranger In Paradise and video game Sleeping Dogs.
