Movie Castings: Zoe Levin In ‘Palo Alto Stories’, Troian Bellisario In ‘C.O.G.’, Bar Paly In ‘Non-Stop’

Zoe Levin has joined the cast of the independent movie Palo Alto Stories directed by Gia Coppola who adapted from the collection of stories by James Franco. Levin recently wrapped Nat Faxon and Jim Rash’s The Way Way Back with Steve Carell and Sam Rockwell. She also appeared in Blue Potato, written and directed by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly. Earlier credits include Trust directed by David Schwimmer. Levin is repped by Kami Putnam Heist at CAA and Bonnie Liedtke of Principato Young.

Pretty Little Liars regular Troian Bellisario has been cast in C.O.G., an independent film directed and written by Kyle Patrick Alvarez. It’s the first film adaptation of writing by the humorist David Sedaris. In this particular essay, Sedaris travels to work in the apple orchards of Oregon and is confronted by migrant workers and God-fearing churchgoers. Jonathan Groff, Corey Stoll, Casey Wilson and Dean Stockwell also star. Cookie Carosella and Stephen Nemeth are producing the project currently filming in Portland, Oregon. This is Alvarez’s second film after his debut Easier With Practice which won a Spirit Award. Cookie Carosella is producing with Rhino Film’s Stephen Nemeth. Movie Castings: Nat Wolff In ‘Palo Alto Stories’, Bryan Callen In ‘Ride Along’

Nat Wolff is joining Palo Alto Stories in a leading role. Gia Coppola is writing and directing the project based on James Franco’s short stories. Wolff plays stars as Fred, a gangly teen with a habit of getting into trouble. Stories is produced by Miles Levy and Vince Jolivette of Rabbit Bandini Productions and Sebastian Pardo. Wolff, son of actress Polly Draper, appears in upcoming Focus Features’ Admissions with Tina Fey and Paul Rudd and Feed The Dog opposite Selena Gomez. He is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.

Bryan Callen has been cast in Universal Pictures’ Ride Along with Kevin Hart, Ice Cube, John Leguizamo and Laurence Fishburne. Callen’s character is Miggs, a wily and somewhat sketchy undercover cop. Tim Story directs. Will Packer, Cube, Matt Alvarez and Larry Brezner are producing. Callen is repped by Innovative Artists and managed by Ray Moheet at LEG.
