John Leguizamo, Lynn Collins & Jim Belushi Cast In ‘The Man On Carrion Road’; Meegan Warner Joins ‘The Veil’

Lynn CollinsJohn LeguizamoJohn Leguizamo, Lynn Collins and Jim Belushi have joined the cast of thriller The Man On Carrion Road for director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego. Patrick Wilson and Ian McShane star in Atlas Independent’s story of a botched Mexican cartel Jim Belushideal in the back roads of a border town that leads to the brutalization of its residents. Production begins April 14. Leguizamo, repped by UTA, Silver Lining Entertainment and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern, was in Ride Along and Kick-Ass 2 and next appears in Jon Favreau’s Chef. Collins’ credits include John Carter and X-Men Origins: Wolverine; she is repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment. Belushi, whose recent credits include The Defenders and According To Jim is repped by ICM Partners and Brillstein Entertainment.

Jessica Alba, Thomas Jane and Lily Rabe star in the horror pic about the lone survivor of a cult’s mass suicide who returns to the scene with a documentary film crew 30 years later. Ian McShane, Patrick Wilson Star In ‘The Man On Carrion Road’

Ian McShaneAtlas Independent has set Ian McShane to star with Patrick Wilson in The Man On Carrion Road, which Open Grave’s Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego will direct based on Nils Lyew’s script. McShane will play an aging retired Sheriff of a small border town with violent tendencies. He teams with the town’s new sheriff (Wilson) to stop a mysterious cartel butcher who’s brutalizing the town’s residents. William Green, Aaron Ginsburg, and Andy Horwitz will produce through Atlas Independent, an offshoot of Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment. MICA Entertainment is financing with Relativity International selling the picture overseas. Production begins in April in Utah.

McShane just wrapped the Brett Ratner-directed Hercules and will next be seen in the comedy Cuban Fury. Pic comes after the William Monahan-directed Mojave with Oscar Isaac and Garrett Hedlund, also a collaboration between Atlas Independent, MICA Entertainment and Relativity International. McShane is represented by ICM, Independent Talent, Gallant Management and Nelson Davis Wetzstein.
