UPDATE: Bravo Confirms ‘Real Housewives Of NY’ Season 6 Back On

UPDATE, 5:09 PM: Most of them are back for sure. “The Real Housewives of New York City will return on Bravo for season six,” a Bravo spokesperson confirmed today. “At this point, the returning cast members include Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson.” Note that LuAnn de Lesseps and Aviva Drescher are not on that list. A source says that doesn’t rule it out that they are returning with the others, as I reported on May 11, but right now Singer, Morgan, Radziwill and Thomson are the only Housewives Bravo is confirming publicly. ‘Real Housewives’ Showrunners Launch Production Company & Sign With Bravo

EXCLUSIVE: They are the men behind the housewives. Matt Anderson and Nate Green, executive producers and showrunners of four Real Housewives series – The Real Housewives of New York, New Jersey, Atlanta as well as spinoff Bethenny Getting Married? – have launched their own production company, Purveyors  of Pop. The duo also is finalizing an overall deal with Bravo. Under the pact, they will continue their duties as executive producers and showrunners on the 4 hit series (Green is on New Jersey, Anderson on Bethenny while both executive produce New York and Atlanta) as well as to develop new shows for the cable channel through their company. Overall deals are rare at Bravo and are usually reserved for the channel’s top producing talent. Top Chef executive producers Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth of the Magical Elves have had a deal at the channel as part of a larger pact with NBC Universal. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is Bravo’s #1 show and the network just announced that it would use the series to launch a fifth night of original programming on Sunday next month. New Jersey, which has been renewed for a third season, recently posted a record audience for the Real Housewives franchise (3.9 million) for its reunion special. New York, which has been renewed for a fourth cycle, ended its third season with a series high viewership (2.6 million) for the season finale. Bravo Ups Eli Lehrer To VP Development

Eli Lehrer was promoted to VP development for Bravo Media. Leher will now be based in Los Angeles and will oversee development for Bravo on both coasts, reporting to Andy Cohen, SVP original programming and development (and Bravo on-air personality). Lehrer was previously VP development and production, East Coast since 2008, where he developed Bravo’s Flipping Out, The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of D.C. and executive produced the Cohen-hosted Watch What Happens: Live, The Millionaire Matchmaker and Tabatha’s Salon Takeover.
