Tom Arnold Signs With Untitled; Innovative Artists Signs Rachel McKeonActor and comedian Tom Arnold has added Untitled Entertainment to his roster of reps. The host and narrator of CMT’s My Big Redneck Wedding franchise has taken his stand-up show on the road this year and appeared in Mike Myers’ documentary Supermensch: The Legend Of Shep Gordon. He also stars in indie drama Any Day opposite Sean Bean and Eva Longoria. He’s also repped by Resolution and attorneys Bloom, Hergott, Diemer, Rosenthal, Laviolette & Feldman.

The relative newcomer plays destructive riot grrl-esque punk singer Irene McCabey, who moves from Austin to Pittsburgh to claim her inheritance in the form of her grandfather’s ramshackle house. The indie drama premiered this week at NYC’s Northside Festival, presented by IFP, after nabbing the Audience Award at IFF Boston. Tisch grad McKeon makes her film debut in Homemakers but has graced the NYC stages in Pains Of Youth, A View From The Bridge, and Welcome To Nowhere.

Tom Arnold Joins Indie ‘Any Day’; Victor Gojcaj Cast In ‘The Forger’

Tom Arnold has been cast in indie drama Any Day, opposite Sean Bean and Eva Longoria. Rustam Branaman wrote and is directing the pic about a man who has a transformational experience through his relationship with his nephew. Arnold will play Roland, an ex-alcoholic who gives Vian (Bean) a shot and hires him to work at his restaurant. It’s the first pic by backer Jaguar Entertainment, whose Jeanette Zhou is producing alongside The Marshak/Zachary Co.’s Darryl Marshak and Pantheon Entertainment’s Andrew Sugerman. Filming begins October 21 in LA. Arnold is in theaters in Lionsgate’s Pulling Strings. He’s repped by APA and KLWGN Entertainment.

Victor Gojcaj is joining the cast of art crime pic The Forger, starring John Travolta. He appeared with Travolta in Columbia’s The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, when Tony Scott cast him in his acting debut as a train hijacker. Gojcaj also appeared in Scott’s Unstoppable. He is repped by aTa Management.

Tom Arnold To Guest On USA’s ‘Psych’

Tom Arnold will guest star in Season 8 of USA Network‘s Psych. He’ll play the role of Garth Mathers, the paranormal police consultant for the Anchorage Police Department who comes to Santa Barbara with his trusty spirit sidekick Bernie to participate in the Cutting Edge Consultants panel hosted by Professor Stein (Bill Marchant), but when a murder occurs, they pitch in to solve the case. Arnold will join Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, who was recently tapped to do a multi-episode arc on the series. Arnold currently hosts My Big Redneck Wedding and recently had a recurring on FX’s Sons Of Anarchy. Psych is executive produced by Steve Franks, Kelly Kulchak and Chris Henze, from Universal Cable Prods in association with Tagline Pictures. Mel Damski serves as exec producer/director. Saladin K. Patterson, Andy Berman and Todd Harthan are co-exec producers/writers. Arnold is repped by APA and KLWGN Entertainment.

Open Road Acquires Ensemble Comedy ‘Outrun’

LOS ANGELES, CA, November 18, 2011 – Open Road Films has acquired all U.S. rights to the romantic action comedy Outrun — starring, written and co-directed by comic talent Dax Shepard (NBC’s “Parenthood”) with an all-star ensemble cast including Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold, Beau Bridges, Kristin Chenoweth, David Koechner, Michael Rosenbaum, Joy Bryant, and Ryan Hansen. David Palmer co-directed with Shepard. The announcement was made today by Tom Ortenberg, CEO of Open Road Films.

Outrun is the story of Charlie Bronson (Shepard), a former getaway driver who busts out of the Witness Protection Program to drive his girlfriend (Kristen Bell) to Los Angeles so she can land her dream job. Their road trip grows awkwardly complicated, when they are chased by the feds (led by Tom Arnold), and increasingly dangerous, when Charlie’s former gang of criminals (led by Bradley Cooper) enter the fray.

Outrun was produced by Andrew Panay with Nate Tuck, Kim Waltrip and Jim Casey. Exclusive Media Group acquired the international rights.

AFM: Exclusive Media Group Backs Comedy ‘Outrun’ With Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell And Bradley Cooper

Exclusive Media Group acquired offshore rights to Outrun, a romantic comedy written and co-directed by Dax Shepard. Shepard stars with Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper and Tom Arnold. David Palmer directs with Shepard. Shepard plays an ex getaway driver who breaks the rules of Witness Protection to drive his girlfriend (Bell) to Los Angeles so she can land her dream job. Authorities and his former gang (led by Cooper) get wise and try to track him down. Andrew Panay is producing with Nate Tuck, Kim Waltrip and Jim Casey. Exclusive co-chairmen Nigel Sinclair and Guy East announced the project to sell during AFM. Exclusive Films International’s Alex Walton will handle sales for the film, which just wrapped. Exclusive most recently completed The Ides of March.
