Writers Guild Awards Sets Presenters For NY Show

wganew__130204201842NEW YORK, NY (JANUARY 22, 2014) – An incredible line-up of presenters has been confirmed for the 66th annual Writers Guild Awards New York Ceremony on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

This year, awards will be presented by an eclectic mix of writers, producers and actors, including Fred Armisen (Portlandia), Robert Carlock (30 Rock), Raúl Esparza (Law & Order: SVU), Terry George (Hotel Rwanda), Kate Mulgrew (Orange Is The New Black), Lawrence O’Donnell (The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell), Steve O’Donnell (Late Show with David Letterman), Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), Matthew Rhys (The Americans), Frank Rich (Veep), Keri Russell (The Americans), Danny Strong (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) and Beau Willimon (House of Cards).

Colin Quinn To Host WGA East Awards

colinquinn2New York, NY – Renowned television star and Drama Desk nominee for his acclaimed one-man Broadway show, Colin Quinn will host the 66th Annual Writers Guild Awards New York Ceremony on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. Quinn takes over hosting duties from W. Kamau Bell, who had to bow out due to unforeseen conflicts. “I’m proud to be hosting the award show for the only people in the business that are as bitter as comedians” said Quinn. He is currently touring his new one-man show, Colin Quinn Unconstitutional, which had an Off-Broadway run at The Cherry Lane Theatre this past summer. He also appears on Girls. The 2014 Writers Guild Awards will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, simultaneously at the Edison Ballroom in New York City and the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, CA.

The 8 PM ET East Coast ceremony will be held tonight at NYC’s B.B. King Blues Jazz Club to honor outstanding achievement in writing in film, television, radio, new media, and other awards categories. Los Angeles – Executive Producer Cort Casady and Talent Producer Carole Propp have confirmed additional presenters to the talent line-up for the 2013 Writers Guild Awards L.A. ceremony this Sunday, February 17, at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE.

Writers Guild Awards Sets First Presenters For LA Show

Los Angeles – Executive Producer Cort Casady and Talent Producer Carole Propp have confirmed the first wave of top talent set to present honors at the 2013 Writers Guild Awards Los Angeles ceremony coming up on Sunday, February 17, at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE.
